Code of Conduct
In conjunction with the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc’s RZone policy, Strathroy Pride in the Park prioritizes positivity, safety and respect at our event.
The RZone policy is a zero-tolerance policy for violence, vandalism and inappropriate behaviour on municipal properties throughout the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.
Any person who engages in activity or behaviour that is deemed to be prohibited will be subject to removal from the event area. Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service have been granted authority to act as agents for the municipal property of Alexandra Park during this event.
Prohibited actions for the purposes of this policy include, but are not limited to, the following:

Aggressive or intimidating approaches to others (verbal assault)

Threats

Attempts to goad or incite anger in others

Throwing of articles in a deliberate or aggressive manner

Physical striking of another individual

Theft of property

Possession of weapons

Illegal consumption of alcohol or drugs

Contravention of Municipal by-laws, policies, or procedures

Vandalism

Harassment

Photography & Recording
We ask that all guests take care to respect other attendees when taking photos and videos at our events. Strathroy Pride will always ask for verbal consent to take a photo of you or your group, and ask for verbal consent to post the image online. As our events are open to the public, we cannot guarantee that individuals will not appear in the background photos or videos taken by Pride volunteers or attendees.
